Re: Grading Question

With grade issues/changes that have taken place at other schools, this is our process:

·         Faculty must submit grades in Banner.  We do have some adjuncts that come in and we assist them as they are very limited in their computer skills.

·         Faculty must submit a signed grade sheet to me which I then verify in Banner and roll/make official.  I do have occasions at least once a term when faculty “think” they have submitted their grades in Banner but there is no grade when I am verifying.  It comes in handy to have that grade sheet.

Two questions –

 

1)      How many require faculty to submit grades on line?

2)      If faculty submit grades on line do they submit them directly to the students’ transcripts or are the grades submitted to the registrar’s office to be verified then placed on the transcript?
