Re: Non-degree Students

Here at Aaniiih Nakoda College we do not require the non degree seeking student to meet with an advisor and do not require them to attend orientation.  However, if the student is taking a full credit load of classes and it appears they are seeking a degree then we meet with them and explain what would happen if they do not declare a major.

Subject: Non-degree Students

Good afternoon,

We are having some conversations on campus about non-degree students and what their requirements are concerning registration. I would like to get a sense of what other people are doing. Does anybody require non-degree students to meet with an advisor before registering or attend orientation?

Thanks,

Sarah Dellwo, Director of Admissions and Records
