We allow for Summer graduates to walk. We make the graduates for the next/upcoming Fall term wait until the next year. They are technically not part of that year’s graduating class as we see it.

HI all,
For those of you that have only one commencement ceremony a year, how many allow graduates for future fall semesters to participate in ceremonies (i.e. Fall 2015 graduates wanting to participate in the in the 14-15 ceremony instead of the 15-16 ceremony). We have seen an increase in these appeals this year and I was curious what other campuses are experiencing with commencement appeals?
Just curious of your approaches to this request.
