FVCC allows students who are registered for summer classes to apply for summer graduation but walk in the spring ceremony. Fall graduates, if they want to walk, must do so the following spring.

HI all,
For those of you that have only one commencement ceremony a year, how many allow graduates for future fall semesters to participate in ceremonies (i.e. Fall 2015 graduates wanting to participate in the in the 14-15 ceremony instead of the 15-16 ceremony). We have seen an increase in these appeals this year and I was curious what other campuses are experiencing with commencement appeals?
Just curious of your approaches to this request.
