I will send a Zoom meeting invitation to the MACRAO listserv for both Thursday and Friday. I can host the Zoom meeting from Miles City, as long as I have wifi access. I will bring an extra laptop with conferencing setup.

Look for the Zoom meeting invites to be sent on March 13.

Joe

Yes, there are a few of us who cannot make it at UM who would love to listen in via phone.

- MT Transfer Pahways_Adminstrative Guidelines Draft.docs

As a part of our CCN work, OCHE has been convening faculty councils to review commonly transferred CCN courses and to develop "Transfer Pathways", short articulation guides that describe what courses a student should take to be prepared for transfer in a given discipline so that they may graduate after a further two years of full time study. Thus far we have four draft transfer pathways that have been reviewed by four-year faculty at each campus offering a bachelor's degree in that discipline (Computer Science, Chemistry, Elementary Education, and Psychology). Currently CCN Liaisons are working to ensure these pathways go through appropriate campus-level review before being finalized.

The attached guidelines are an attempt to clarify what guarantees a transfer pathway provides to a student and to outline how pathways can be updated as curriculum changes on different participating campuses.

- 2&300Equiv_memo_Jan19.doc

The Common Course Numbering Administrative Guidelines<https://mus.edu/Qtools/CCN/CCN%20Administrative%20GUIDELINES%20.pdf> currently bar lower division courses (1 or 200 level) to be listed as equivalent to upper division courses (3 or 400 level). In practice 70-100 course pairs are being listed in ways that create functional equivalency between 1/200 level and 3/400 level courses. During recent statewide faculty meetings as a part of our efforts to future proof CCN, faculty requested that this practice be allowed to continue in rare cases so that two-year colleges can offer the first two years of coursework in various disciplines.

Common Course Numbering Liaisons have reviewed and approved proposed language to allow for this to occur. If implemented, these changes would allow for such equivalencies only when:
· A faculty committee with representation from all campuses offering coursework agrees (i.e. four-year institutions may veto such equivalencies)
· Shifting coursework to the 200- level would cause hardship for four-year academic programs
- High Impact Practice Attribute Codes (Outlook item)

This document is a proposal for tracking high impact practices at the course level.
- Degree Attributes.docx

This is the banner documentation regarding the proposed attributes Thank you all for all that you do. Looking forward to seeing you next week!
