Thanks ALL. Here is our current “working agenda.” It is subject to change. PLEASE continue to share thoughts on topics of interest. We want to make this worthy of everyone’s time.
The following two items include presenters from OCHE and will be on Thursday early afternoon to kick-off the conference.
- Residency with OCHE Legal Counsel– (still finalizing a format, maybe have people submit questions odd cases ahead of time)
- Transferability of Core with Joe Theil from OCHE– (MAY include A REQUEST FOR EACH SCHOOL TO PRESENT ON THEIR CORE (5 minutes) then a conversation about adding a note to transcript when local core is completed).
Other topics for roundtable or presentations (format TBD) on either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning
- GDPR – how to handle requests to “be forgotten.” MSU legal counsel is looking into this, I wonder if UM or OCHE is also looking into it?
- SeamlessEnrollment – we can share what we are doing throughout MSU and talk about improving transferability throughout the state.
- Suspension Processes – sharing current practices: what is the good standing, probation, suspension process? How do we honor one another’s suspension upon application? Feedback on a proposal to eliminate suspension.
- Business meeting, including: review of bylaws, treasurer’s report, review of website, discuss fees and conference structure, strategic planning – how can we best serve our membership.

- Gender Identification and personal pronouns in banner 9 (can we develop a standard practice/use)
- Comprehensive Learner Outcomes/Co-curricular transcripts
