MSUB followed the guidance (which, at the time, was very strict…) regarding though shalt not cross list and thy will uncross list anything that was, is, or ever would be…
A new rubric seems to have some logic, but here, I suspect the departments would say that the courses get ‘lost’ if they aren’t somehow associated with their academic department.
Does it feel like we’re rehashing e-v-e-r-y CCN conversation we had 10 years ago ? J

Subject: interdisciplinary courses
Hello,
There is some consternation on our campus about the inability to cross-list interdisciplinary courses. We are looking at the UNIV rubric as a potential place to facilitate these courses.
I am wondering: is anyone else using this solution? Does anyone else have other ways in which they code course that previously would have been cross-listed?
Thanks All
Tony
