I believe I'll be able to attend MACRAO on Friday morning only, and I would also be very interested in this conversation -- our new Master of Accountancy program will be conducted a block schedule (3-week sessions), and we're trying to navigate proper policies around add/drop dates, financial aid disbursement, and tuition refund dates, plus also figure out how these courses should be built in the system since pretty much all of our other courses are full-term besides summer. We also had a recent situation with some of our short-term clinical courses causing potential issues with VA benefit eligibility levels, so I'm also curious to know how you all are handling VA benefits with block scheduling.

Yes, UM is going to 12, 6 and 3 week sessions starting Summer 19 and we are launching 3,6,9 and 12 week courses to begin this fall.
I won't be at MACRAO, but a couple of my folks who are on the project will be, so they can share what we have learned about using part of term in Banner, from conversations with Western and our testing.

I think we may want to have a round table on "short-course" or "block scheduling." Western has been doing this since eXperienceOne. Bozeman is launching a summer 4x4 (four days a week for four weeks). I understand the Great Falls is looking at a variation of this for spring and fall terms, perhaps and that Missoula is looking at a version of short-course/block scheduling as well. I am not sure if others are doing or looking at this but it may be work a round-table/sharing session.
