Re: Grade for never attending?

Here’s what I know:

If a student is attending all but one class and does not withdraw from that class, they receive an F and that is factored into their GPA. That student can, however, appeal for a late withdrawal after the official withdrawal date passes.

Here at Northern, our attending or not attending students are reviewed within the first three weeks of the semester and those who are not attending any classes can be administratively withdrawn per the registrar’s decision.

Have an awesome day! It’s snowing here – what the???

Subject: Grade for never attending?

Hi all,

I was curious if any of you have a specific grade for students who signed up for but never attended the course.  If so what designation do you use and does it affect GPA?

Thanks for the information.
