Re: Grade for never attending?

Hello, if a grade is not reported we grade it with an ‘NR’ and sent out missing grade forms.  This does not calculate into their gpa. When instructors call and say the student has never attended their class; we ask them to give them the grade they earned (F) and it does count into the gpa.  A student can petition for a late withdrawal as well.

Thank you

Subject: Grade for never attending?

Hi all,

I was curious if any of you have a specific grade for students who signed up for but never attended the course.  If so what designation do you use and does it affect GPA?

Thanks for the information.
