IPEDS definition counts summer as the leading term in the academic year. Four-year (or six-year for that matter) rates are really 8 (12) semesters, or 3.75 (5.75) years. To minimize confusion, it would be great if OCHE and IPEDS were consistent.

We are looking at some of our graduation reporting procedures in the OCHE office. I was curious if the graduation data for the summer graduates is entered into banner and official by October. So would the summer of 2020 graduates be completed in Banner by October of 2020? If not, is this something that could easily be done by then?
In the past we have not collected the summer graduation data until the following year. So the summer 2020 graduate data is not usually collected by OCHE until October of 2021. Because of this we are not sure of the timing of when that summer graduates data is actually completed.
