Re: 1/2 and 3/4 Credits

That does appear to be a huge headache.  The only time we deal with fractional credits is quarter credit transfer.  It appears similar to the person who is asked to rate something 1 through 5 and they insist on a 4.5.  I would be curious to know the justification and would try to have them fit the standards. Unless there is a compelling pedagogical reason to for the fractions I would avoid it, and frankly I am not sure what that would be.

Good morning,

 

We have a program that is going to send through curriculum with ½ and ¾ credits. So they will have a class for 1.75 credits. Does anybody else do this or know of a reason why this should not be done? It seems like a headache financially. If anybody has any knowledge on this I would appreciate it.
