We use CourseLeaf for publishing our catalog, submitting course change and course proposals, as well as submitting curriculum changes. The workflow and management of the curriculum and course changes has been challenging but it is SO nice to be able to see what the workflow looks like, who has approved, whose desk is it sitting on, etc.. We have published two catalogs (both online and hard copy) with this system and this last year we transitioned to Curriculum Management. We probably had 70% of the curriculum and course changes immediately switch to the system although we still processed the old paper copies when needed. We plan to use this system for 100% of course and curriculum changes in the next academic year.
Additionally, we were able to build Karen Janssen at OCHE into the workflow so that course proposals that need CCN review are submitted through this workflow process. I know this process has been somewhat successful from her perspective – but not sure what we may need to be changing going forward. I have a call in to her to discuss this.

I was curious if any of you are using a particular catalog software to produce your catalog (i.e. Catalogsmart, Indesign, courseleaf)? If so what software and does your campus also use it to process curriculum proposals?
