Montana Western uses Fire Engine Red for our online application. The payments are made directly through Montana Interactive. We have worked through all the set up to work so the payment relationship is all in place. We have been very satisfied with FER. We were using CollegeNET as our vendor for our online application for admission, but were told that we could no longer use them because of the gap between the amount of time the student pays the online application fee and the time we actually receive those funds from CollegeNET.  There’s some sort of state law that says deposits must be made within a certain amount of time from when the student pays the fee, and CollegeNET is taking too long.  However, I know we’re not the only college in the state that’s using a third-party vendor for the online application for admission.

 

Can you please tell me what vendor, if any, you use for your online application for admission?  Did you have to make any special arrangements with your vendor to receive payment bi-weekly, instead of monthly?
