Just to make sure everyone is on the same page, my understanding is that the residency portion of the college application (question 10 on the attached) should read:
I am or will be a graduate of a Montana high school after attending that high school for my entire senior year and I have or will be registering at a unit of the Montana University System within four fall terms of my high school graduation.
So, we’ll be correcting question 10 on the Residency Information section of the admissions application here at Montana Tech.

Hi Kathy-
Could you please share this message with the MACRAO listserv?
Dean Wagner-Fossen noticed this morning that the BOR residency policy and the Residency Questionnaire w/instructions (available at http://mus.edu/Prepare/College/Residency_Questionnaire.pdf) have conflicting information on the exception for graduates of Montana high schools listed in H(1)(c). The BOR policy states that in order to take advantage of this exception, an individual needs to register no later than the 4th fall term following graduation, while the Residency Questionnaire requires registration no later than 2nd fall term following graduation. The language in the BOR Policy controls, so we have updated the Residency Questionnaire.
I apologize for this oversight. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Thanks-
Jessica
