We have a policy/procedure related to the financial aspect of eLearner https://www.umwestern.edu/section/402-5-internet-onlyelearning-policy-for-purpose-of-tuition-fees/ and what standards an eLearner has to meet for fees to be reduced.
However with the academic side of the house we are similar to MSU in that we incorporate the definitions from the BOR policies into our practice and (now with the adjustments due to COVID) keep those definitions and practices visible for the campus.

At MSU we don’t have a specific eLearning policy. We have incorporated the definitions from the new policy into our practices and we have several people across campus committed to the ongoing development of eLearning but this is generally done in the context of their existing roles.
Happy to know if others are taking a more formal/policy approach in addressing eLearning or distance learning.
