My guess is the first response to this request will be really? In August? 4 months later?....I offer no excuses, but to say it has been a very busy last few months J As I’m sure it has been with all of you J
I’m trying to finish typing up the minutes from the second day of the Spring 2017 MACRAO meeting and I think I’m missing a few names for two of the Business Items.
We had discussed forming two adhoc teams/committees to explore the following items:
· Outreach Team to members that do not regularly attend MACRAO meetings- what areas/information/ideas do these campuses have to increase participation and/or what hurdles might be preventing participation.
· Developing a team to explore how we can create a shared system to record MUS Core completion on transcripts and/or if Passport evolves shared system for recording Passport on transcripts
o As a side note not related to the MACRAO meeting, this might interconnect well with the group that Dena recently recruited…maybe we want to consider combining all of these ideas into one group.
If you volunteered to participate in one of these two groups can you please send me an email so I can make sure your name is one the list for the minutes. Or if you didn’t attend the spring meeting but would be interested in participating please send me that information as well!
