Transmittal Form

Can someone tell me who “owns” the Transmittal of Records form? I’ve noticed that the addresses on the back for Missoula College and UM Admissions are out of date. I’d like to get them updated.

Re: Straighterline

Some of the Straighterline courses/exams have been evaluated by ACE (American Council on Education). Spring 2023 MACRAO meeting - Missoula

I have attached the agenda, Fall 2022 minutes, parking map, map for the University Center, additional activities, and the Constitution and Bylaws.

On the agenda, you will see that we need to make some minor changes to the Constitution and Bylaws. Please review and bring your feedback to the business meeting. 

The RSVP is all set up and ready to go on the MACRAO website: http://www.macraomontana.org/conference-registration.html. The University of Montana has some Conference information located here: http://www.macraomontana.org/macrao-conference.html. There will be no cost for the dinner at Cranky Sams.


I know that it is short notice, but could anyone attending in person please RSVP on the MACRAO site by March 29th so that UM can get a head count and accommodate dietary restrictions and adjust menus as needed.

Cognia accredited schools

UM is seeing an increasing number of students coming from private high schools in Montana accredited by Cognia. How do you all understand this accreditation? Can we recognize these schools as meeting BoR accreditation policy standards or do you consider them homeschools? I’m not seeing these schools listed on the OPI private school list as receiving federal grant money. If you consider them homeschools, would students graduating from these schools then not meet the requirements to qualify for an exception to the MUS residency policy based on high school attendance/graduation?
