We are updating our catalog and changing “probation” to “warning” beginning this semester. We are working on policies regarding “conditions” imposed upon warning but those won’t be deployed until next year.
We are also reviewing/exploring the exemptions for new students who are below 2.0 at the end of the semester (though it appears that this will be an ongoing manual change to standing since BANNER doesn’t consider student type when calculating standing).

Happy holidays, MACRAO colleagues! I’m wondering how you all are handling the recently approved updates to BoR policies 301.8 and 301.9. Are you changing your catalogs? Are you changing your Academic Probation letters? Both? Neither? Not until next academic year?
Looking for some guidance so that we standardize this change across the MUS.
