Co-Req Courses

MACRAO folks:

 

Back in 2019, we established a schema for tracking math and writing corequisite course sections. The attached memo summarizes the approach and provides guidance.

 

In reviewing this data it appears that not all campuses have applied these section attributes to corequisite courses beyond Fall 2019.  I imagine this is just something that may have fallen off your radar since the original memo.   Could you each please review and apply these codes from Fall 2019 moving forward and also work to ensure they are applied to future course sections? Our two-year campuses in particular have requested that the math and writing focused performance funding metric be revised. Accurate data on corequisite coursework will be important as we explore other options for performance funding metrics.

 

Please do confirm by April 1^st that your past data is accurate, and let me know if you updated past sections (including Fall 2021), so that we can refresh the appropriate terms in the warehouse.
