Thank you to Lisa Blunt and Miles Community College for hosting our upcoming Spring 2019 meeting on March 14-15^th!  I will be sending out the agenda later in the week but wanted to get you all the meeting details so you can plan your travels accordingly.

 

Location:

• We’ll be meeting in room 106 at MCC.  I’ve attached a PDF of the internal building map (106 is in the upper left corner) and here is a link to the campus map: https://www.milescc.edu/AboutUs/Maps/. Please note that parking is free and not restricted at all (no cost, no passes).

 

Time:

• Check in at 12:30pm; Meeting starts promptly at 1:00pm (a full agenda will be sent soon)

Dinner:

Adelanta el cobro de tus facturas

Factoring. ¿Qué es? Simplificándolo, se trata de adelantar el cobro de tus facturas a clientes, para reducir el tiempo que pasa entre que tú haces el gasto (tus pagos a proveedores, empleados, etc.) hasta que lo cobras de tu cliente. A nosotros llegan a menudo empresa que lo buscan porque trabajan en sectores (construcción, civil, industria...) con plazos de cobro muy largos y tienen tensiones de tesorería importantes por "aguantar" sus pagos hasta que finalmente cobran. Así que nos hemos convertido en expertos en este tipo de líneas. Uno de nuestros clientes, una empresa industrial andaluza, tenía unas tensiones de tesorería muy importantes por los plazos de pago de sus principales clientes, entes públicos en su mayía. Nos contrataron para que los ayudásemos y les conseguimos varias líneas de factoring a medida para su cartera de clientes, de modo que pudiesen descontar siempre las facturas que quisiesen y lo hiciesen en las mejores condiciones (interés) posibles. Gracias a este refuerzo de su estructura de circulante, esta empresa es ahora más sólida y rentable. Si quieres que te ayudemos con un problema similar... Refinanciación

Refinanciación de endeudamiento. ¿Qué es? Simplificándolo, se trata de convertir deuda a corto plazo en deuda a largo, para reducir las cuotas de amortización. A nosotros llegan a menudo empresa que lo buscan porque en meses "flojos" les cuesta hacer frente a todos sus compromisos de pago. ¿Cuál es el problema? Que los bancos aborrecen todo lo que sea refinanciar porque no quieren asumir riesgo de otras entidades y porque el Banco de España les hace provisionar el 25% del importe. Si quieres saber cómo lo solucionamos nosotros, sigue leyendo... -- Uno de nuestros clientes, una empresa industrial valenciana que tenía tensiones de tesorería puntuales que hacían peligrar su estabilidad, nos pidió que le ayudásemos a refinanciar sus préstamos a corto. Era una refinanciación que ni su banco ni ningún otro le quería dar. ¿Qué hicimos? Montamos la operación como una necesidad puntual (no recurrente) de tesorería que nada tenía que ver con la refinanciación de otros préstamos y centrándonos solo en la operativa de la empresa, sus plazos de pago y de cobro. Así conseguimos dos operaciones que juntas cubrieron los tres préstamos y a más largo plazo. -- Si quieres que te ayudemos con un problema similar... Re: Master's Degree Distinctions

Our master's diplomas and diploma covers are the same for master's and undergrads. We have a bigger size for our PhD recipients.  We separate our commencement by level, PhD, Masters, Baccalaureate, Associate.  For each level we the have them process by college, department, and degree.   So we recognize all master's recipients before we begin with undergrads.

Happy February! I hope everyone is enjoying winter. We are getting ready to celebrate our first class of Master of Accountancy students here at Carroll, and we wanted to find out what other institutions in Montana are doing to honor their master's students.

 

For those of you award master's degrees....

• Are master's diplomas the same size as bachelor's diplomas?
• Besides the degree information, is the wording any different on your master's diplomas?
• Do you provide a different diploma cover for your master's degrees?
• Generally speaking, for those who have a combined ceremony, what do you do to make the master's students stand out at graduation? (We plan on having the department chair do the hooding, but we're interested if others are doing anything else that's special)

La solución a las tensiones de tesorería

Uno de nuestros clientes tiene una empresa de carpintería metálica, se encargan de todo lo que sea metal en obras grandes. Muchos de sus clientes son entidades y empresas públicas o grandes empresas. Tiene grandes encargos pero cobra tarde (por lo general) y tiene que adelantar mucho dinero. ¿Resultado? Unas tensiones de tesorería bastante graves que hacían peligrar una empresa que lleva trabajando casi dos décadas y que además estaba creciendo a buen ritmo.
